Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the 1vs1 platform and its games (currently SYNAPSE), at 1vs1.games (and 1vs1.pi) (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.Eligibility & age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are in the EU/EEA or another country with a higher minimum digital-consent age (for example 16 in parts of the EU, or 15 in Serbia), you must meet that higher age. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The Service is not directed at children under that age.

2.Accounts

• One account per person. Creating or operating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed.
• Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate registration information (such as a valid email and a username) and to keep it up to date.
• Account security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You may sign in with email/password or with Google (OAuth).

3.Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other users;
• post or transmit unlawful, hateful, or infringing content (e.g. in feedback or usernames);
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

4.Fair play — no cheating or automation

Because SYNAPSE is a competitive game, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Cheating of any kind, including manipulating scores, ratings, or matches;
• Automation — using bots, scripts, macros, or other tools to play or to gain an advantage;
• Exploiting bugs — knowingly abusing software defects instead of reporting them;
• reverse-engineering or tampering with the game to subvert fair play or our anti-cheat measures.

To support fair play and security, we record technical telemetry as described in our Privacy Policy.

5.Virtual points have no monetary value

All in-game points, scores, ratings, and metrics — including bot-IQ and PvP-IQ (Elo) — are virtual and exist solely for entertainment and gameplay purposes. They have no monetary or cash value, are not currency, cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred, and give you no right to any payout, prize, or withdrawal. We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual items and scores (for example, to correct cheating or errors).

6.Payments & advertising

The Service currently contains no payments and no advertising. If paid features are introduced in the future (for example via Stripe or Pi), additional terms will apply and these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7.Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, graphics, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain rights to content you submit (such as feedback), and you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service.

8.Service provided “as is”

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10.Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove content, if you violate these Terms (for example, cheating, automation, or abuse) or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in the app via Settings → Delete account, which permanently deletes your account and associated data.

11.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
